I'm a bit behind on my blogging. But in my defense, I was on vacation for three weeks! We went home to Utah for almost three whole weeks. It was a nice long vacation but it was nice to finally come home and sleep in my own bed. Here's a few things that happened while we were in Utah.
We went to St. George and visited Tyler's grandma and some of our friends. Man that place has exploded! There are so many new businesses and homes! It's crazy. But we miss it so much! We lived there for about 3 years total. The first 2 years were us with roommates livin' the crazy fun college life. Then we got married and lived in a cute little apartment for one year. Those were probably the most fun years of our lives...so far.
(Kind of a scary bunch, aren't we?)
Anyway, next we went to my hometown to welcome my brother come home!!! He just got done serving a mission in Long Beach California, Spanish speaking. It was so good to see him. The cutest thing ever was how he would randomly take Kayden and just go about his business. What a great uncle!

In case you couldn't tell my parents are adding on to their house. My dad was giving Shawn the grand tour.
Then we went to Bear Lake and hung out with Tyler's family for a week. My sister-in-law Christi gave Kayden his first haircut. He was pretty wiggly but we finally got rid of his comb-over/mullet combo. We also went to Minnetonka Cave, it was pretty cool.
Tyler's parents are also adding onto their house, this is where Kayden had his hair cut.

We went back to my hometown for the weekend before we left on Monday. We hung out, played games and relaxed.
My sister, Shersti, is THE cat lady. I love her to death!!!!
We had such a good time. We love going home to visit, even if we did have to live in construction the whole time. It was well worth it though!

Wow it looks like you guys packed in lots of fun!! So glad you were able to be there when your brother got home - it does the soul good to be with family, doesn't it?? Glad to see you back on the blog!!! We missed you - hearing about your game playing reminds me that we need to have another games night soon!!

My little brother came home from his mission in October. Isn't it great!? His name is Walker- 1st name, not last.
