Farm Expo Fun

The Farm Machinery Expo was in town this week and Tyler just couldn't resist.  We went on Saturday and I don't know who had more fun, Kayden or Tyler!

He looks a little too comfortable driving this thing!

'Ok, I'm done, I want down!'

This is how me and Morgan roll at the Farm Expo.

Safety First!

He didn't quite know what to think about the escalator.

Snow Days

It doesn't snow too often in our neck of the woods and when it does, everything shuts down.  So we like to take advantage when it does snow to have a little fun!

He loves this snowman.  Everytime we leave the house he points at him and says bye-bye.  It'll be a sad day when he melts!

Kayden has watched me put my purse on everytime we leave so he decided he wanted one.  We got an old one out of my 'box of bags' and he totes it around with his chapstick and other little knick knacks.  It's girly but it's cute!

Kayden and Morgan preparing for the Superbowl.  Unfortunately, despite our kid's support, the Colts lost :(

Kayden turned 2!!

On January 22, my little boy turned 2.  So many people say, 'wow, already?!' or 'it'll be here before ya know it'.  Thankfully, I don't feel that way.  Not to say that it has drug on and on, but I feel I've enjoyed each stage as it's come, trying not to let life get so busy that I miss a lot.  I know as life gets busier and more kids are added to the mix that will all change so I'm glad I've been able to enjoy the time I have.  So, I have a 2 year old, and he is amazing!

The closest thing to a smile we can get out of him.
Most of my family came out for about a week at the beginning of January (we missed you Landon and Timorie!) so we had a little party then.  Kayden did a wonderful job at blowing out his candles and opening his presents.  He loved all the attention.

Here he is blowing out the candles on his ghetto-fabulous cake.

My sober-faced little boy.

I can't believe I didn't get any pictures of my family! I really need to get better at the whole taking pictures thing.  We got most of it on video though so at least it's somewhere.

Anyway, we had a great time while they were here, lots of games and fun.  I miss them so much!!

On Kayden's actual birthday we skyped with Tyler's parents while he opened his presents from them.

He got quite spoiled!  He's so lucky he has such wonderful grandparents and aunts and uncles!! Oh, yeah, his parents are pretty great too :)
