We spent a lot of time outside this month.

We got a dog named Duke in July. He's a 2 1/2 year old Miniature Schnauzer mix. He's instantly become part of our family and he's so fun. He's so patient with Tate especially as Tate crawls all over him and pulls his hair.

We went to Portland for a few days.

The beach at Seaside. It was a coolish day but the kids had a blast. We didn't bring suits because we thought it would be too cold to get in but the kids played in the sand and water anyway. We actually had to go find a store and buy Morgan a skirt because her pants were soaked and full of sand/mud.

 Seaside is a really cute touristy town with lots of fun stuff to do.

No vacation is complete without swimming at the hotel pool!

On the way home we drove through Mt. St. Helen's State Park. We found this great little diner with the best fresh blueberry lemonade. Morgan liked it. That's actually a blueberry stuck to her tooth but it just looked so hilarious. My little hick Morgan :)

Kayden loved this squished car. Pretty crazy seeing the damage from the eruption 32 years ago.
